Just to inform you that Mataram also offers water park fun time, we can easily find one at the down town which is Kura Kura Water Park in Jalan Sriwijaya (close to Grand Legi Hotel). It's not a big place like water boom, but it's quite enough for small city like Mataram. There are many facilities such as water park, fitness center, karaoke by Nav Karaoke, food court, small store, beauty salon & spa by Rumah Pohon, also a premium resto for family which offers many kind of seafood cuisine.
Went there on last holiday when I stayed in home town for about a month, met up with my chairmate in senior high school, Hesty. We planed to enjoy some snacks and had a spa treatment, and we did! Also we had fun to look around by a train, the scenery was good, at the right side of the train we saw all the water park view, but at the other side there were wet field with a small temple in the center. And for late afternoon snack, we went to a sushi resto across Kura Kura, just a couple minutes walk.
“The glory of friendship is not the outstretched hand, not the kindly smile, nor the joy of companionship; it is the spiritual inspiration that comes to one when you discover that someone else believes in you and is willing to trust you with a friendship.”
Ralph Waldo Emerson
