In the end of year 2015, after Christmas, in holiday season, I'm celebrating my birthday which means I'm legally turning 21. Cheers! I think it a kind of new start to live an adult life, even deep inside my self I deny it. Childhood was a very incredible time, so many memories and habits that hard to forget. Especially last several years. It was the time of self changing. The time for becoming mature enough in ways of thinking, ways of solving problem, and ways of learning.

It was also the time for moving on, saying good bye and forgiving. Then now I'm officially announce that I've left Surabaya for good and now preparing for chasing my dream. It was so hard, really, to say good bye from the city that had became my home and also the place where I struggled, and from my friends who already turned into family. We shared so many moments together from happiness to sadness, and helped each other when needed. I talked to several closest friends about my moving for good, and they wished me for better life. The one that I keep noticing in mind is words from a friend that have been good to me during my study, the one who taught me much a means of life, the one that showed me how to forgive and love people who hurted me, and the one who understand about dreaming. That person, who have a pure heart to people, told me to chase my dreams and wished luck always be with me. From that, I'm thinking again about recalling my dreams that had been vanished. Starting again of hoping. And believing the hidden plan of God that is called miracle.

Last year is about year of forgiving and accepting to me. I feel mature enough about solving problem by forgiving. A friend told me to treat people by seeing them as God's great creatures, not from their acts. And I also learned about accepting because God knows the best plan for us. My friend told me the story of David in a spiritual session.

It's 2016 now, and I'm wishing my self to become better person who can influence people around, be good to people and be the person as I see in my dream.

So this year, I got surprise from my girl squad in our hometown, Lombok. They brought a very cute greentea cheesecake, that is my favorite, which is decorated by fresh flower when we had lunch at  The Vinnette House of Bovin & Lynnette. Couldn't more happier to have bestfriends like them!

Another surprise was coming from Vinnette's team, they gave me a plate of dessert; vanilla ice cream, choco mouse and choco lava cake. Nomnomnommm!!!

Twenty.

ZARA crop sweater / Five13 pencil skirt

On December 29th, I was officially turning 20! Really can't believe that time flies this fast. As I remember, friends surprised me in the night day changing. The fireworks, the laugh, and the idea of kidnapping concept. For this year, they surprised me with the horror concept.  I was in my friend's home, and suddenly the electricity was off. Then it just happened like in horror movie. At the end, they just came out with a round birthday cake with candles on it. Totally creative! Thank you for sharing your love dear!!!

Well, actually I got this sweet cactus candle then I visit Starbucks to look for their Espresso Brownies, one of my favorites, and ordered frappe too. Because the day after I had an exam, I decided to visit my friend's home with several others to study there. And picked up several cakes from Starbucks for them in order to celebrate my 20th birthday. At first I want to order a birthday cake from my favorites cake shop, but unfortunately they had closed order before I placed mine. So that's the reason why I changed it into Starbucks cakes. And when I reached my friend's home, we talked and my friends named Abah, Chaning and Vines was laughing because I brought cakes and candles for celebrating my own birthday. And it was the moment before the horror surprise began.

DIY : Doraemon on a cake

Here are several shoots when I made a cake with my little chef friend. At least, he had better skill in cooking than me, and I took photograph of him while making the cake. There's no photo of mine because he didn't want to take it, what a boy...

We start from making the concept days before, from which type of cakes, how about the layers, even the decoration. Then I choose the strawberry -  blueberry than a rainbow cake, I thought it will be so cute combining the pink one and the blue one, which are total six layers. And about the decorating, Doraemon face will be very incredibly cute (ps I love cute things). My dad loves Doraemon since he was young, so do I. Every sunday morning, I wake up early to watch it on a national TV channel, although my dad also buy me the DVD. The kindergarten Clara until she is in high school, always keep to watch it.

Time for decorating!

Smearing the white cream. We dyed the white cream to get the colors. And we also used the blueberry and strawberry cream to gum the layers.

Start to draw the Doraemon face on the top of the cake.
To be honest, it was so hard to draw it, confused where have to start, because decorate a cake as one of cartoon character for an amateur like me is such a moment to think creative, have an innovation, and really explore the self soft skill. Also it need patience, exactness, and thoroughness.

Need a little bit touch, the cat whiskers effect.

This is it, The Doraemon Cake special made by me. But unfortunately, the box make the cake not perfect anymore especially at the side of cake. Took the last photo on my friend surprise birthday. Baking a cake was really fun. The result is quite good, the taste and the looks. Anyone order? Contact me :)

Bon Anniversaire Romeo

This Romeo is a best friend of mine, Shierly Natalia. Marvelous skin, black hair, red lips, a snow white look a like, aren't she?

Shierly is such a funny and always cheer people up. We love Shierly much muchh!

Hare and Hatter

A cafe and bake shop located at Surabaya Town Square, Hare and Hatter. They sell many lovely cakes, macaroons, TWG, and some Italian dishes. The place quite comfortable to gather with friends.

Ah I love macaroons!

And there was a Harley Davidson event at Surabaya Town Square that night. Big motorcycle and huge sound.

I'm in love with stripes, just like people recently. Dressed so simply that night.

I chose a piece of their Royal Blue Velvet and Lychee tea. It was just a snack or should I called another dessert after a dinner with friend.

For a friend birthday, so funny to give the late birthday celebration words with tiny cake and only a candle on it. It was called difference. When people usually give a tart and many candles, I did the reverse. In fact I also did that habit too the night before.

MT's 19th birthday dinner

Melinda's 19th birthday dinner was held at one of Chinese Restaurants in Surabaya. 

Finally ended up with this black leather tote bag from ZARA S/S 2013 after considering many other goodies options that should we chose for her birthday gift.

And those are the birthday wishes notes each from three of us; Vica, Clara, and Melina.
Just please have a date with a high-dedicated charming dude Miss Beautiful!

Oh we both donned our peplum apparel without any deal before. And I brought my new baby, a vintage leather bag from ALDO while Melinda brought her nude CHANEL chain bag. The night was so great and full of joy course. We prayed together for her new age so God will always bless her life and wished many wishes too. Then once again Happy Birthday Mellllllsssssss!!!!!
