A casual dinner at Porto Bistreau.

It's always a pleasure of mine to share some incredible moments I've been through, and I'm back writing stories again. Perhaps several of my readers who has already follow me on instagram and zomato know more about my daily during my off-period of blogging. Well, let me tell you a thing, I found a very affordable yet fancy dinner place, here in Jakarta. Seriously. When I was in Serpong area for some business in a cloudy Sunday, looking for a place to have dinner, and as usual I do Zomato-ing. Then I found a restaurant, quite fancy with medium price of foods. I shocked at first, and with just 50-50 feeling, finally I decided to visit this fancy restaurant.

Porto Bistreau, located in Gading Serpong, around 1,5 hours driving from South Jakarta. The restaurant is build in a three-floor shop house, with a backyard which opened as the smoking area. The first two floors are open as the dining area. They completely put a lot of attention in the interior, which I love so much. Woods, black chairs, marble table, and all classic contemporary design. Even their toilet is something to be fascinated. About the foods, I could die everyday craving for its! Taste so delicious with a beautiful plating (I still not consider about the price, really it's so delicious).


Australian Hamburg Melting Cheese. Grilled Australian beef patty, stuffed with melting cheddar, topped with special Porto sauce, sunny-side up egg, served with vegetables and homemade potato wedges. The portion is quite big, so I assume you'll feel completely full after a day starving for foods.


Hanging tender.  Well, they offers this menu in small portion as for appetizer (50 gram) and bigger one (100 gram) complete with potato wedges as for main course. I ordered this small size hanging tender because I've already eaten some snacks and dessert at different place earlier. The sliced Australian hanging tended is grilled with imported kosher sea salt and black pepper. The taste is very simple but hard to forget.

I didn't plan for having a kind of fancy dinner with pretty gown, so I came with a very casual attire. Because today it's a trend for two-pieces-top, like a combination of an outer tank with a long sleeve top or a corset with a black shirt, I found one that suits me from a collection of local online shop. The set is coming with a creme long sleeve to be wear as inner, and an outer crop tank with attached sash that can be tied what ever you wants. I chose my light blue gray ripped jeans as the bottom and paired it with a ballerina flat shoes to bring a casual look. And I can run faster without a high heels on.

Style to my office.

It's been very long time not sharing something- fashion, culinary, even traveling. Earlier this year, I was pretty busy in choosing any jobs offer that suitable on me. Well basically as you know that I'm graduated as an engineer but even I don't have any matter with all of it complex calculation and designing, I just didn't think that the working days would supported me to inspire people through the way I dressed up. And then I ended up choosing a Management Development Program at one of private banking owned by one of Indonesia's conglomerate. Months back I stayed in Megamendung, Puncak in West Java at their training center, learned about whole system in banking industry. It was really like I'm back to uni again. So just now I stay in Jakarta, working at their headquarters office. The building was awesome, standing right next to one of Indonesia's big TV station in same area-both are under same group. And there are a small library with breathtaking view to Gatot Subroto street which then become my favorite spot.

So here, I share some my looks about what I wear to office daily. In first look I was wearing a 3/4 sleeves Batik dress with A-line cutting. The dress itself was bought by my parents. The pattern and the color just so simply yet elegant, paired it with my kitten heeled shoes from Zara. Well, I'm wearing any Batik clothes twice a week, and at first it was literally made me get confused since I was not dressed up in Batik oftentimes. But as time goes by, everything just so fun, like every morning I play mix & match of clothes.

In the second look, I also wearing a dress with a drapery at waist and the cutting is slimfit. To give a deep formal look, I also wore stockings in black. And for last touch, I chose my lace up high heeled shoes in cobalt blue. Since I always in love with pointy shoes, and those lace just bring another classy yet edgy look, and I feel it brings a sexy touch to my legs. And all are from my favorite RTW brand, ZARA.

Power of white.

ZARA shirt and jeans | GOSH t-strap sandals

As we all knew that Winter is coming, of course in four season countries, and it means that Christmas is near. Mostly places have already decorated their space in winter theme, like putting fake snowflakes, mistletoe, making their own Xmas tree and many more!
I was going out for lunch, and the weather was quite cloudy. I picked up my very simple attire like an oversized shirt with basic skinny jeans. Both were in white. I didn't mean to represent snow as it is winter or even Christmas, I just currently in love with something clean like white. Yes, if you read my post months behind, I was crazy with black then blue but this time is white. For sure those three are my favorite, sometimes grey included. This color is very simple but the strongest. It suitable for any occasions. Like it's easy adaptable with all conditions. At first I wanted to opt for heels but then ended up by opting for this t-strap sandals. I wanted to bring a casual look and very simple since it's only a dinner with friends.
Many of friends asked me about my hair. I brought messy for that look, just curled it and ruffled it using my hands. I keep my hair longer this time, even deep inside me I want to cut it in long bob style, but my boyfriend force me for longer one. And for makeup, smokey eye with glossy lip. As you see, my lip look thicker than usual.

As you notice that the current season is Fall, shown in many stores displaying their Fall Collection. Actually here in Indonesia, we don't have Fall season, but what just happen right now is Rainy season. The similarity between both seasons are lower temperature and windy days. So I pick up some tips to keep neither warm nor fashionable at same time for Indonesians and other two seasons countries.

FALL ESSENTIALS:

1. Wear Thick and Midi Apparels
• First thing you should know is how your body feel to the temperatures around. If you think you'll get freezing, you should wearing thicker clothes and fully cover up your body like wearing long sweater, long pants, etc. But sometimes for whom wants to still look fashionable, choosing midi items is a good option. Whether it is a midi dress or midi skirt that paired with long top.
2. Choose Neutral Colors; Black, Caramel, Brown, Cream, Grey
• To keep yourself update with the current trends, opt the right colors of apparel is important. As you can see that many international brands choose neutral colors for their Fall collection. The colors itself represent the mother nature color when it comes to Fall. Opt for black, caramel, brown, cream and grey. White is also a neutral color, but it more represent Spring and Summer. So it's better to combine it with darker color rather than wearing top to toe in white only.
3. Wear Booties or Pointy Shoes
• From ankle boots to upper knee boots, will bring edgy look. But if you don't have any booties or even you're not like them, you can opt for pointy shoes. It's simple but bring more stylish effect than a pumps.
4. Bring Jacket, Scarf, Pashmina
• In case your apparels doesn't quite enough to keep you warn, you can bring jacket, scarf, and pashmina too. Opt for one of them or even combine them like wear a scarf inside a leather jacket without fasten the zipper until top.
5. Prepare Folded Umbrella or Rainy Coat
• Anticipate the sudden rain by preparing a folded umbrella and rainy coat, whatever you prefer. It's minimize the risk of getting wet.

And for me, I created this look by mix and match items on my closet. My dress is an A-line sleeveless midi dress in black, and I chose a pashmina to cover up my sleeves by tying it in front. The shoes is a pointy leopard heels from Christian Siriano while my sunnies is from Calvin Klein with dark brown lense.

Bond's Next Girl.

It's been quite so long for me not posting anything about daily look, except in my instagram. I received this simple black t-shirt with some letters print from a local brand in Surabaya, the design, cutting, and it material really comfortable for daily look. It looked so casual, but I tried to pair it with wide leg pants for bringing an edgy yet glamour look. And I picked my nude court shoes, so the look is all in neutral colors top to toe.
By the way, I love my face on those photos, it glowing and a friend commented by saying I'm the next Bond's girl when I shared it on my instagram!

Kendall and Kylie Jenner for Topshop Holidays Collection 2015

Do you remember of two cute little girls who years back were coming up in TV serial titled Keeping Up with Kadarshian? They both are Kendall and Kylie Jenner, half-sister of the famous Kim Kadarshian from their mother Kris Jenner. Their father is Bruce Jenner who now a trans-woman named Caitlyn. Okay, we all knew that it is the kind of sad news, the couple were divorced. And as I follow watch this series since the early season, it's completely make me sad. Because I think that Bruce, now Caitlyn, is a good father for his blood-daughter also for his step childrens from Kris. But I prefer to discuss about these cute girls who now is turning into stunning ladies.

Topshop, one of fashion retailers worldwide, had made a collaboration with these Jenner sisters for their summer collection last June. And the collection was sold out fast. People really excited about those pieces also because of the figure of these Kim Kadarshian's youngest sisters. And still in same year, for this holidays collection, Topshop make collaboration again with these Jenner sisters.

This holidays collection was dominated with black color, knit, fur, leather, and abstract patterns to create an edgy look but also classy. Those items can resulting a look whatever you want according how you mix and match them. And for shoes, I think it is the season of booties, because it's fall season, and ballerine flat with strap to wrap your ankle.

Really, it's been long time from any kind of outfit of the day (OOTD) post. Since I currently put more attention to my Final Project, titled "DESIGN ANALYSIS OF ACCOMMODATION LAYOUTS USING TOPOLOGICAL PATTERN MATCHING TECHNIQUE TO OPTIMIZE THE EMERGENCY EVACUATION PROCESS ON A BULK CARRIER". Well, I am study naval architecture, just reminding, and this is my last semester. I don't know what exactly I feel, sometimes I'm happy but the other side I just broken. I don't want to loose my friends who already been amazing for these years. But let time answer everything since expectations always hurt the deepest. So this final project is really something, I can spend almost two hours for every assistance with my lecturer. The topic and the technique both are rare to choose by the others. The reason I picked that is because I am the person who loves something different, anti-mainstream, and look for something unique. And also, I care about the safety of human life. I need more seconds than mostly people when have to choose, because I am thinking about the risk for each decision. In maritime industry, thousand people have already reported lost on board, especially whose working as bulk carrier's crews. That's short about my final project. Hope that all my blog visitors pray for me, thank you :)

This Sunday I went out for having dinner and a little shopping with my mom who came to visit for supporting me. At first, I decided to dress in casual but I changed my mind. Then I picked a black t-shirt, yes I can't live without black, to be paired with my pencil skirt from an Indonesian jazz singer named Andien Aisyah collection for Gaudi. I love her because her style and fashion sense, rather than love her as a singer. The skirt is a pencil skirt with a second layer shaped trapezoidal. And I wasn't wearing high heels as usual, but I came with that blink slippers.

Backstage : IDE Art 2015

The biennially two days art event held by Design Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) named IDE Art were just happened last weekend. There were so many art exhibition, music performance, culinary stands, and so on. At the first day, there are fashion parade from many famous clothing brand and designers in Surabaya. They asked me to wear a couple of clothes which from Kucing Jalan, a fashion design community, and from Ritter and Skeete. 

This futuristic two pieces dress is from Kucing Jalan. I'm so in love with the cutting.

After show with black and white style with Redy and Mutia who were did the incredible fashion mapping.

 So happy that my great friends were joined the show too. Yes they became the models that night. But unfortunately they changed too fast so we couldn't take pictures in their show clothes.Sort of handsome boys!

Livingstone Cafe & Bakery

Oh well well well, I can't deny that I'm a person who totally can fall for many times with the very brightly coffee shop. I love the way sun shining through the window and touch my cup of coffee on the table- even for this recent time I order green tea latte oftentimes. I really keep off my self from the darkness, and always looking for the light. Well, perhaps I avoid it because I scare of ghost, but actually I also hate it. 

I have been curious with this coffee shop since people talking and post photos relate to this place. And then I asked my trip partners to have our brunch there, and they just simply agreed! Named Livingstone Cafe & Bakery, located in Seminyak Bali. The place was quite large, and we met so many international tourist. So the point is, I'm totally in love like to the moon and back with the interior and everything! It was just became my other favorites.
