THAT is known by Gili Trawangan

Almost skip to share one of my favorite trip during my short-holiday. So I went to Gili Trawangan which recently just much discussed by people as international favorite destination. This island is located in Lombok Strait, and about 45 minutes sail from Bangsal Port in North Lombok.

At this port, they provide public boats with two types to opt; a faster boat which made from steel and a slower boat which made from wood. The first type is cost IDR 87.000,00 per pax and the second is IDR 17.000,00 per pax include tax. By choosing the faster boat, it only need 15 minutes from Bangsal to arrive in Gili Trawangan. And for who don't comfort with public transportation, you can rent a boat for private around IDR 500.000,00 a way trip, but they'll wait if you want to snorkel around the sea. Some of five-stars resort also provide their guest with private boat, and pick up service at the airport. It takes about IDR 2.000.000,00 only for renting their boat a way trip only. It's more expensive, but more comfortable. There is more quality by spending more money, right?

The weather was quite sunny, but for me I still need more brighter and brighter. Along our way to sail the sea, we saw very beautiful scenery, hills around the port were standing under the blue sky and clouds just moving, and we smell salt water so fresh. I was little upset when arrived at Gili Trawangan port, the seawater was just not clearly as years behind. But it's still more amazing than any other beach especially the beach that I've just visited few days behind during my trip to Ijen Crater in East Java, oh I should review it soon.

This island is really motor-vehicle-pollution-free. The government doesn't allow the use of motor vehicle for in site transportation. The function of taxi, kind of for dropping off guest to their hotel, is replaced by horse-drawn carriage called Cidomo. The driver have personal walkie talkie, so they can receive message from head office to pick up guest or else, really like taxi! The rate is depends on destination, but approximately IDR 75.000,- for 3 persons and extra IDR 25.000,- for additional person (max. 4 person exclude driver in each Cidomo). And they have special price for traveling around the island. There also bike rental for tourist with price about IDR 25.000/hour.

At the main area (near the port), you can spot many Gelato shops with many variant tastes.

We stayed at Ombak Sunset Resort, located at north-west of the island. They have some swings that recently become one of Gili Trawangan's landmark.

So that's short about my trip to Gili Trawangan during Ied-Fitr holiday this year. And will share about my trip to Ijen Crater in East Java soon.

Last afternoon cooking time

These all raw ingredients turned into western dishes by me and my girls, Melinda and Melina, at cooking time with our great talented Chef Vica yesterday. In western food they oftentimes use something creamy and made from milk.

Prepared to fillet the chicken and did the one of the crucial part, spread the seasoning in order to give more taste to the chicken itself.

Me and Melinda while prepare the chicken schnitzel before fried it.

And we made the mushroom cream sauce for serving with the chicken schnitzel.
Apologize for the uncompleted photos of all steps, even we was busy to take picture for the other menu which is Chicken cordon bleu. And I can't make a good narration for introducing the steps of dishes that we've already cooked.

This Start

As usual, since I became an institute undergraduate student, every holiday I spent at my hometown. Choose a date, book a flight, pack up my items, and finally touch down the beautiful island. It’s such a wonderful thing now, my holiday is a very-holiday, a kind of holidays that people mostly wishing. Totally different from years behind. My hometown start to attract world attention then become one of world most favorites destination. Who don’t love beach so dying hard? The beach with a magnificent God creature. They said it’s a real-life paradise.

Looking back to years behind, I usually spent my holiday time to travel others destination with my family. And sometimes I miss that memories. It was the time to take me knows the world, learn about the urban planning, understand about the many types of people accent, and many more. The time to get knowledge. Sure they said that book is a window of the world, but sometimes we need to travel for making them clearly, find out the unfounded.

How about now? It’s changes. When I was busy with my exam, my family got their free time, then it comes the time they getting busy again with their business but I just got my holiday. What does it means? I should spent the holiday with my self and perhaps several friends who have it too.

What should I plan now? A wonderful a couple of weeks holiday schedule. But I don’t know it would come to reality or just an empty hope. I just landed here, and the weather was really so unfriendly, huge heavy rain with thunderstorm. I got sick with the doctor words which disallow me to eat some foods because of my organ still not quite strong. Then I found out a friend was not in healthy condition too, and there’s no new fascinating place to visit in this town, even I still think about my marks this semester “would they work together to result a good GPA for me?”

I am tired of the things which make me sick all the time. The things which couldn't cooperate with me. I just want them can pull together and result the everlasting happiness.

Finally I could took my maxi dress out of my closet, simply dress with many buttons in front part of it.
