The Escalator

Maybe it's little bit late to post about this style. I'm not a fashion person who always have to update my closet with the recent booming items, but I keep one which suitable with my personality. I do online shopping more often recently due to my school business, and I can't find that popular item on store on the time they rock the world. 

I realized that I imposed dressing up my body in the best way to cover up my exhausted face and body. It's quite worked, enough for a short dinner. Sometimes I feel that my babies on my closet are upset, and lonely too. They wait for so long to perform their magical fascination to the world, but I even can't take them out. 

I was went out for dinner at a Japanese Restaurant located at a shopping centre. Then I decided for styling my self very lady-like wearing the popular midi skirt and pointy shoes paired with my ZARA crop tee. My tosca midi skirt really matched with my FOREVER 21 round necklace. 

By the way, am I dress really follow the fashion trends? Maybe the answer is yes, but I love this look. People already known that THIS RECENT TIME; CROP TOP, MIDI SKIRT, POINTY SHOES, AND MEDIUM SIZE HANDBAG ARE TOTALLY ATTACK THE STREET STYLE. Honestly I prefer to be someone who very different from people at large, because I feel the feeling that hard to explain by words.

Backstage : Karoong Indonesia at 1001 IDE

One of Surabaya based local brands, Karoong Indonesia which focus on handmade clothing using local material, had joined an exhibition named 1001 IDE yesterday to perform their collections. The exhibition itself is for introduce people about many kinds work by the young generation. Not only clothing, there also artwork and some communities stand. The exhibition took place at Ciputra World Surabaya.

And I was joining the show too with my girl Raysa. About a week behind they asked me to join the show, and course I said yes. It was a great show, and made me in love more with tenun fabric. Their products has fine tailoring and course comfortable to wear.

There were four local designers who joined the show. So there were four sessions, and I walked for three of them. Backstage just so crowded because time run so fast, and we needed to change the clothes for the other session. But thanks God everything went well.

Lime on February 14th

Very interesting chocolate packages are everywhere. The timepiece is ticking for the pink day, where people celebrate it for sharing their loves each other. It just such a symbolic day that people worldwide pick, even though there still hundred days to spread out the love. Yeah, we know that it comes really close, no longer that five days forward people!

We knows, from the youngest until old people celebrate this day 14th of February called Valentine day. I never really do some searching about the history, because in my opinion it's not that important enough, let just focus for making something special for people who mean to be in your life. They could be a best friends, teacher, family, or even your worst enemy. Because God told us to love each other, include the hatters. My fashion-blogger-friend said that let the hatters write what they want,say what they want, because they'll end up nowhere but their own hating.

Alright, for this year, I'm away with the color which show love and the symbol of the day, PINK! I decided to pick something  fresh, as the new color for this Spring. I visualized about a very wonderful time where the plants sprout out, the very fresh green nature after the winter. So that the reasons why I chose this Lime color. And just because I'm madly in love with this Lanvin x H&M necklace recently, and the Chinese New Year was just few days behind, I put this necklace for matching my mom sleeveless dress. I don't want this look just too mainstream, very Lady-like, then I took my silver GOSH wedges-sneakers for final touch. It giving a casual sense, resulting a combination of lady-like and boyish. For the make up, I didn't put the very bright or sparkle colors, just make it to natural.

And that's what I picked for this year Valentine advise. Now I realize that for a very meaningful day which have waiting for, don't always need something new, just glancing at your closet then use your creative brain, do mix&match, and walk in your runway. I've read a quote by Karl Lagerfeld about buying the things which can easily to mix&match. He's true.

This Spring, new beginning, and incredible time ahead.

Perhaps I was away for a couple of week, and haven't share a lot of moments I spent on last December and how I welcoming this 2014. And absolutely about my birthday which come on last Dec 29th. So many memories left behind, year about time for being a mature enough than before, and I'm admit that because I'm already turning 19. Means that there are so many matters to serious about, like academic and carer. 

This is the first post on this will-be-wonderful year, haven't tell you many incredible moments and adventure that I did before really saying good bye to 2013. I'll tell everything, course by publishing photos and words on this blog. Now and perhaps for weeks ahead, I'm busy with my academic because the exam for this semester will come really soon.

Say HELLO to 2014 and wish you for everything well and the prosperity come along your life this year.

You knew that it's time for Spring to come along, where birds singing and flower blossom everywhere. People walk around downtown wearing their bright color outfit, and sunny day always be loved this time.

Almost two years for never stop falling in love

I don't know, but now I agree with the quote that Love is the way your heart fall at the same thing repeatedly. I own this court shoes for almost two years, in fact that I didn't wear it daily or every I went out for shopping or dinner, but I never bored. Back again to the time when the famous Louboutin's daffodile were being a trending topic in high street fashion. It was the beginning for pumps being popular so fast worldwide. And today it's not pumps again but a pointy shoes. Yes, I'm in love with that type too, even I only have it as a flat shoes, haven't really looking for the heels one.

But the point is this ZARA court shoe always cheer me up, and I think it so understanding by matching almost my entire outfits from casual, formal, even into party! This is crazy but recently I chose this lovely one for doing my outfit post. When you love something, it could make you crazier at least.

Now what do you think about welding?

Welding is not a something new or innovation just now in industrial sector. It helps us to merge two or more materials. Obviously it has own detailing about the welding methods. Perhaps mostly people think that welding such a dangerous activities, and they never think to try it once. I can say that two opinions is true, welding is dangerous in case if you ignore the safety procedure. So there is nothing to afraid if you comply every single the required procedure.

I was afraid when my lecturer said that every student in the welding technology class had to do a laboratory activities, which was welding. Then after managed the laboratory schedule, my heart were beating at the first time the laboratory staff asked us to weld the betonizer  for making book shelf.

But now, I think it such a fascinating activities. We can really now in reality about the welding process, and it quite hard course. But everything in this world are hard enough before we learn detail about them. In the production laboratory, there are many activities at the same time, such as cutting out the materials, welding (include cleaning up slag), etc.

Several safety procedure are :

1. Wearing the laboratory coat, safety shoes, and a petersham
2. Binding your hair (for long hair only)
3. Wearing safety welding helmet and gloves while welding
4. More procedure according the activities you take

Actually I'm not a popular fashion blogger, and even I blogged about food and traveling, but people know me as a fashion blogger. Who said that a fashion blogger can't do welding? Now I'm prove it, yes in case it's not being a professional welder course.

So here a short video taken last Thursday, at least it was only taken once, so apologize for my bad English. I just feel that I'm better in writing than speaking, even in Bahasa Indonesia. And about the video editor, perhaps it's not something swag enough, because I did it in the middle of night, where I have slept almost all day long because of fever. Please give some comment about welding ?

Oh by the way, now I'm in love with almost song from Gaga's ARTPOP. They just fun, so do welding. Then I decided to combine them both on the video.
