Staircase.

It was a brunch that I had days ago at ARTOTEL Surabaya's restaurant named ROCA. This hotel offers the uniqueness of art. Some of Indonesia's young artist were collaborated to bring their amazing creation to welcome the guests. One space that I loved is this spiral staircase. The graffiti and the window aside make it looks more fascinating. According to my friend who stay in Jakarta, she already visited Artotel Jakarta, and I'm curious about their rooftop bar. Perhaps I should plan to visit that kind of high floor place.

Still, and yet, black and white is the combination that ruin my mind to bring them both into my daily wear outfit. I chose to combine a white basic tee with 7/8 black pants, then put a dreamcatcher necklace to get a casual effect. And that new slippers looks perfect match for a kind of simple look.

A Trip To Singapore with Garuda Indonesia

Singapore, Singapore, can be ascertained that mostly Indonesian loves Singapore. Thousand reasons to explain why they went to this neighbor country very often. They go for business, holiday, shopping, medical check up, even education. We can find many Indonesian students, mostly in secondary school degree into the university, who study there. I can't deny that this tiny country offers a great life facilities. They manage their tiny area with great urban planning, technology, population distribution, without forgetting the green open space. The Government impose highly discipline rules with strict supervision. Absolutely it becomes the developed country that mostly countries struggle for. Even though if we looking back to tens year behind, the range between Singapore's Independence day and Indonesia's Independence day is not so far. But now, they both show the big difference, from urban planning into the economics.

This country also identical with shopping paradise which we can find many International fashion brands here, and all about entertainment. No one can't deny that some of big fashion shows in the world is held here, the chosen country for that big programs in ASEAN even in Asia. They have many fashion institute such as Rafles which deliver the great fashion designers. But now let see from the other side, one is urban planning which still makes me astonished.

In my thought, they plan their urban area for giving a healthy city with a great technology for their citizen. And absolutely they succeed for it. How they dividing the industrial area, education area, shopping area, even the entertainment. Here the photos that I took at the last time I went there. From the bay area which we can find the containers, Merlion, Marina Bay Sands, and the sunset view from the road. The environment was so clean and less pollution, sure because they keep the green open space too.

The last photo was taken on my flight back from my hometown; Lombok to Surabaya (LOP - SUB). I was enjoyed my flight with Garuda Indonesia. Almost other airlines don't give snacks to their passengers, also less comfortable aircraft compare to Garuda Indonesia. And I don't have to pay the airport tax, because it's include when I bought the ticket. Reading a novel and taking my montchi in my flight, just such a routine.

Holiday Summary mid-2013 : Cirebon

So glad to be back hometown and finally get in touch again with my love, to blog again! Yes, I'm with my notebook again now after been separated for holiday in two weeks. Unfortunately, I share it only on my instagram, because blogging is nothing without this notebook, and I literally comfort by using this only. I feel so tired and perhaps should be a sleeping beauty days forward to refresh my body, uh uh uh. But inside my soul I got high satisfaction for past two weeks, thanks to mommy and daddy at least, also the entire family too.

The reason why Eid-holiday is such a perfect time to have a holiday with whole family- yes, four of us, mom, dad, me and a brother- is just because in Indonesia Eid-holiday is one of their national holidays and it is quite long compare to other holiday. So we have many time to discover this lovely Indonesia.

It was the end of July when I had a flight to Bandung from Lombok International Airport. I chose black leathers for my daily which are mom old purse and the shopper bag from ZARA.
I'm in love with black for every time like it the partner of mine in whole life.

The sky was so blue and it was sunny. So we didn't have to worry with the weather that day. There's no direct flight of LOP - BDO, so we got transit in Bali about an hour, and I brought montchi.

And we arrived at Husein Sastranegara airport. Welcome Bandung! The airport was so tiny and crowded when we reached there, some flights arrived without enough facilities for the passengers. Hopefully the government notice it and do some renovation, because it's public place.

Then we went to a cousin's private villa in Cirebon, a small town in northern West Java. And we spent almost a week there. Bandung was so full and I needed fresh air, such a great decision to spend times in Cirebon, because that villa has a good atmosphere.

One of culture that famous in Cirebon is the Batik Tulis and their batik's pattern called mega mendung. I'll make a different post to write about it much.

The traditional food, ahhh I love it! The Sundaness traditional food for a dinner.

Jajanan khas Jawa Barat, yes both are their others traditional food. The left is kerupuk merah and the right is cireng. Honestly I prefer the pink one, and cireng was such have a weird taste.

Finally after craving for times, I got my Nasi Jamblang, special traditional food which found in Cirebon only. Thanks to my cousins, after I cried and he took me there one night. Unfortunately, the restaurant was getting to close, so the dishes were running out, and that was I got. 

Had a lunch or picnic time at Waduk Darma, about an hour drive from Cirebon. The wind blew so hard, and totally frezzingggg

Childhood such a wonderful time in human life, playing that bubble remind me of my childhood.

Kiddos kiddos! I was dressing so casual, just went out for buying some stuffs with kiddos and their mom. Oh I want babies, dying for it!

And good bye Cirebon! My last train travelling was two years behind, and I take airplane more often. So glad to use train again!

DIY : Doraemon on a cake

Here are several shoots when I made a cake with my little chef friend. At least, he had better skill in cooking than me, and I took photograph of him while making the cake. There's no photo of mine because he didn't want to take it, what a boy...

We start from making the concept days before, from which type of cakes, how about the layers, even the decoration. Then I choose the strawberry -  blueberry than a rainbow cake, I thought it will be so cute combining the pink one and the blue one, which are total six layers. And about the decorating, Doraemon face will be very incredibly cute (ps I love cute things). My dad loves Doraemon since he was young, so do I. Every sunday morning, I wake up early to watch it on a national TV channel, although my dad also buy me the DVD. The kindergarten Clara until she is in high school, always keep to watch it.

Smearing the white cream. We dyed the white cream to get the colors. And we also used the blueberry and strawberry cream to gum the layers.

Start to draw the Doraemon face on the top of the cake.
To be honest, it was so hard to draw it, confused where have to start, because decorate a cake as one of cartoon character for an amateur like me is such a moment to think creative, have an innovation, and really explore the self soft skill. Also it need patience, exactness, and thoroughness.

This is it, The Doraemon Cake special made by me. But unfortunately, the box make the cake not perfect anymore especially at the side of cake. Took the last photo on my friend surprise birthday.
