Quali's Kwetiaw

I'm totally missing fried noodle cooked in oriental seasoning, but my Doctor disallowed me. So sad because I'm drooling hard for a plate of kwetiaw. One of my favorite restaurants who offers good taste kwetiaw cooked in oriental seasoning is Quali. I think you can easily find out this resto almost in every shopping center. The price is affordable. Another plate to make spectacular taste on my tongue is their mayonaise risol. By the way I was wearing a casual attire, leopard print shirt pairing with short, taking my clutch and pointy flat.

Say Something

Last year, at the end of January, I went to my best friend room and we both played mix and match of all favorite apparels. I brought mine to there. This outfit post, I was wearing Vica's top and studded short. Matching with my red pumps. It's an old post, but I think this street style still be favorited.

Solo : Rawon Bakar "PAWON OMAH KOE"

Located near the Adisumarno airport Solo, this restaurant which offers a traditional food named Rawon Bakar, provide the vintage place. Fresh atmosphere there, because the wet field are around, and there are old train on the backyard. But unfortunately it's not for transportation, only for sitting in that fresh air, and taking some photos maybe.

The food that recommended by the resto is their RAWON BAKAR. In fact, they still have another kind of dishes on their menu list. As we know, that Rawon is kind of traditional soup contains meat and seasonings, then served with rice. But they make some innovation, they separates the soup and the meat. They grill the meat itself, and put the soup on different plate.

The package for this Rawon Bakar about IDR 30.000, included rawon, traditional salted egg, rice, and soft drink. Perhaps, if you visit Solo, try to visit this restaurant named PAWON OMAH KOE.

Solo : Tahu Kupat Telor "Sido Mampir"

Through this short post, I'll share about culinary spots in Solo. Honestly, when I stayed there on my last year-end-holiday, actually I'm not feed my self with all traditional food. But I only chose their special food, which only can be found there. If you walking around Gajah Mada street, near the Novotel, you'll find small warung (food stalls) by the side street. It named "Tahu Kupat Telor : Sido Mampir". On a portion, it's combination of bean sprouts, peanuts, noodle, tofu with liquid seasoning (a little bit sweet if you don't order for extra spicy). They can ask you for any options of extra fried egg and rice cake. The price is affordable and cheap enough.

Keraton Surakarta

Say hello to this new beginning, the new atmosphere to start everything and make a better steps. Honestly, I still excited with this new year moment with many hopes and plans in mind. And course many stories from the end of last December to share.

And finally I have a short trip to Central Java, visited small town named Surakarta or well known as Solo. I don't know administratively which one is right, but people know both. At the middle of 2013, perhaps this name was so popular which their Mayor named Mr Jokowi was so famous with his innovative concept to advance this town development. And now he became the Governor of DKI Jakarta. So glad to know directly what he had contributed to this small town. I saw railways roadside while walked around the town, it used for city tour. And I found other one which make you can't believe it! They have a tourism bus with multilevel seating area upstairs (like found in other countries) for introducing what inside Solo by the city tour program. Unfortunately I hadn't try it because I had to back for some project here in Surabaya.

One of the heritage spot should be notice when you visit Solo is Keraton Surakarta (Surakarta Sunanate). This  is a Javanese monarchy centered in the city of Surakarta, that established in 1745 by Pakubuwono II. The area is open for public, in case the tourist can't access the restricted area. Vintage building construction makes the atmosphere so traditional.

Spotted a guy with Burberry bag.

Traditional snack?

The first Paku Buwono statue, if I correct because I'm not good at reminding.

They provide the visitor with guides, so we can know the history and brief explanation of every single corner there.

Gate to the inner of Keraton.

I was felt I'm finding an Autumn season here in Indonesia.

One of many Abdi Dalem there, who served the Sultan and his family.

It was the first time for me to visit a traditional castle outside Lombok. And so happy to broaden my knowledge about this lovely country. I hope that the youth will keep conserving the heritage of Indonesia. I was so serious listen the guide's explanation, even I wasn't take any outfit photos. Just dressed so casual, pairing white sleeveless top and jeans, both from ZARA, with F21 necklace and red pointy flat shoes from Yongki Komaladi, clutch from The Little Things She Needs.
